Addressing the Boudoir Stigma

There is undoubtedly a boudoir stigma around nudity, showing off your body, posing in your underwear, and stripping down in front of a stranger.

But there’s also something so pure about embracing vulnerability and opening up, stepping into a realm you don’t frequent in. Whether it’s for you or someone else, I believe boudoir is a doorway into a new life.

People shouldn’t be embarrassed by their bodies; people shouldn’t be judged on what they post or do in their spare time. Most importantly, women should be respected for their bravery in sharing rather than slut shamed.

I see boudoir photography as an opportunity for people to see themselves in a new light and aid in the discovery of self-love. No matter your shape, size, ethnicity, background, profession, or relationship status, you should love the body you’re in and all it’s gone through with you.

My only aim here is to encourage positivity and create a safe environment for people to explore themselves and discover how incredible they are. Please, join this journey and share your experiences. Let’s build a new norm for the modesty of the human body.
