Top 5 DREAM Shoots

This year has started off crazy and so far I have been unable to do any photoshoots, but, I have some big ideas for 2021. Keeping possible travel limitations in mind (due to the current situation around the world), I’ve chosen my top five DREAM shoots I want to get done this year.

1. Boudoir with tattoos

This may sound really simple, and it is, but I am yet to work with some “covered” in tattoos. I don’t mean head to toe covered when you can’t see their skin, but enough ink to add character to the pictures. Something I could focus on with the camera and add a little bit of colour and contrast, ultimately helping to tell a story within a story. Tattoos are pieces of art and I cannot wait to be able to feature someone else’s art within my own creation.

2. Shower shoot

This has been a dream for a long time, and I finally have the facilities to do it. A shower shoot offers so many possibilities within itself and often creates incredibly intimate shots. With natural occurring variation as water flows and steam rises, creative inspiration is all around you. Stripping down to the bare minimum can often lead to the most creative outcome.

3. Couples boudoir

The power and intimacy I have seen captured in couples shoots come second to none. Being able to capture and portray a relationship in such a raw format is not only incredibly meaningful because of the trust instilled, but inspiring through the confidence shown and availability of each person. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to capture real emotion between two people and play a part in telling their stories.

4. Infinity pool/bath

As cliche as it is, there is something beautiful about these scenes. Having an infinite expanse in the background helps bring focus to the subject of the photo while still showing the beauty of the surroundings. I’d like to think I’d do it differently than everyone else, and somehow add my own twist to this bucket-list-Esque shoot, but in reality, it’s probably been done, and that’s okay.

5. Acrobat/Hand balance/Contortion boudoir

A bit of a mouthful so let me explain. Having as much control over your body as professional performers do is a dream of mine, and the movement itself is a work of art. I want to bring that art together with the most beautiful canvas there is the human body. Using them to compliment each other and accentuate the beauty and power within. Incredible physical feats with empowering raw and natural beauty.

If you have any ideas you want to create – let me know! I’d love to work with as many people as possible this year. I find creating with other people incredibly fun and always leads to new ideas and inspiration. All in all, I am ready for an incredible 2021 – here’s to another year of creation!
